Varos Village Hotel

Varos Village Hotel is spread across five authentic traditional buildings, reconstructed within the inland village of Varos so guests stay part of real village life. It suits travellers who want the widest choice of shops and eating places on their doorstep, with the whole island in easy reach by car.

Plati & Thanos

Plati and Thanos are the areas for a self-catering stay by the southern beaches, 2 to 4 km south of Myrina. Both villages keep studios, apartments and simple rooms a short walk from long organised sand, with tavernas, bars and a supermarket at Plati. They put you on the best family beaches of the island while keeping the capital a few minutes away by car. This is the choice for a beach-based self-catering holiday.

Moudros & the east

Moudros and the east suit a quieter self-catering base, on the island's large bay near the airport. Moudros keeps rooms and apartments with tavernas, shops and banks close by, handy for the ancient sites of Poliochni and Hephaisteia and the eastern beaches such as Keros. The flat, fertile east stays calmer and greener than the coast around Myrina. It is the choice for travellers touring the archaeology and the windsurf beaches of the east.
